Benson'S Orange-Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. raw cranberries, cut
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 egg
Preparation
    Place butter in cup.
    Add boiling water to butter to equal 1/4 cup.
    Add fresh orange juice to make 3/4 cup.
    Add egg to dry ingredients, then add liquid and mix to blend.
    Add nuts and cranberries.
    Mix and pour into a greased and floured bread pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
