Six And One Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg white
2/3 c. white sugar
3 Tbsp. water
1/4 c. white or dark Karo syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in top of double boiler with bottom double boiler filled with boiling water.
Set timer for 6 1/2 minutes and beat with mixer while cooking.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until of spreading consistency.
