Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1 stick margarine or 1/2 c. oil
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 large eggs, beaten
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, divided
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients and let stand 5 minutes.
    Mix white and brown sugar and eggs.
    Add to oatmeal mixture.
    Combine flour, soda and salt; then add to mixture.
    Add 1/2 bag chocolate chips.
    Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle remaining 1/2 bag chocolate chips and nuts over top of batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    (Don't bother trying to test for doneness because chocolate chips will be melted and confuse the test.)
    Cool before cutting.
