Oatmeal Scotchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. orange extract
    3 c. old fashioned oats
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a small bowl, combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
    In a large mixing bowl, beat margarine, sugars, egg and orange extract until creamy.
    Gradually beat in flour mixture.
    Stir in oats and chips.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake 7 to 8 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes.
