Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, washed and sliced thin (skin on)
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    8 to 10 mushrooms, sliced thin
    salt and pepper
    milk
    1/4 c. Cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Wash potatoes thoroughly and slice thin.
    Layer potatoes along bottom of greased baking dish.
    Layer thin slices of butter and mushrooms (cheese, if desired) with sprinkles of flour, salt and pepper, about 3/4 up the pan.
    Top layer should be potatoes.
    Dot top with butter.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs and Cheddar, if desired.
    Bake for about 1 1/2 hours in 350\u00b0 oven.
