Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cook sugar, cornstarch, salt and milk until slightly thickened.
    Remove from heat, add small amount of hot mixture to egg yolk.
    Pour back into pan and cook until it boils.
    Remove from burner, add butter, vanilla and coconut.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with beaten egg whites and brown.
