Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. raisins
1 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg, slightly beaten with 1 Tbsp. water

Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cut in butter.
Stir in raisins and caraway seed and add buttermilk. Knead until smooth.
