Ingredients

1 1/2 c. broccoli flowerets
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. dried crushed oregano
2 large pita breads, split
3/4 c. shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Cook broccoli 6 to 8 minutes in small amount of water.
Drain; set aside.
In skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until meat is no longer pink.
Drain off fat.
Stir in flour.
Add tomato sauce and oregano.
Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Cook about 1 minute.
Set aside.
Preheat a large baking sheet in 400\u00b0 oven about 5 minutes.
Arrange pita bread on baking sheet.
Divide the mixture, broccoli and cheese onto the bread.
Bake about 5 more minutes, until cheese melts.
Makes 4 servings.
