Barbara'S Cornwallis Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Wash sweet potatoes and place in large sauce pan.
    Cover with water and bring to boil, cover pan and simmer about 30 minutes until tender.
    Peel potatoes and mash.
    Add next 8 ingredients, mixing well. Pour into a greased 13x9x2
    baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Sprinkle with coconut before serving. Serves a lot.
