Spanish Pork Chops - cooking recipe

4 lean pork chops
4 Tbsp. oleo
salt and pepper to taste
onion
canned tomatoes
1 Tbsp. dry rice (for each chop)
3 to 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

In a heavy skillet, brown pork chops in oleo, salt and pepper. Place a thick slice of onion on each chop; pour tomatoes around the chops, about 1-inch in depth.
Add rice around in the tomatoes.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Cover tightly and simmer at 350\u00b0 until chops are tender and rice is done.
