Deer Or Beef Jerky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. venison
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation
    Cut the venison into thin strips no more than 1/4-inch. Combine soy sauce and seasonings.
    Pour over strips in a large bowl.
    Mix well and marinate for 8 to 10 hours.
    Place the strips on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
    Allow the strips to touch, but not overlap.
    Bake in the oven on low (150\u00b0 to 170\u00b0) for 10 to 12 hours.
    (Let this bake during the night.)
    Thicker pieces may need to take longer.
    When cool store in Ziploc bags at room temperature.
