Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head broccoli
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 small red onion
    1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. yellow vinegar
Preparation
    Cut broccoli flowerettes into very small pieces.
    Cook and crumble bacon into small pieces.
    Chop onion into small long pieces.
    Mix these ingredients in large bowl.
    Add grated cheese. Mix in small bowl, the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
    Pour over broccoli and chill well.
    Serves 6.
