Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 egg (2 may be used)
    1 tsp. salt
    water
Preparation
    Combine first three ingredients.
    Add enough water to make a slightly stiff, rollable dough.
    Roll out as thin as possible.
    Cut into strips.
    Drop into a rich boiling chicken broth.
    Simmer on low 45 minutes to an hour.
    Chicken may be left in the broth.
