Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 recipe pastry
1/4 c. butter, oleo or chicken fat
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chicken broth
2/3 c. cream
2 c. cut up cooked chicken
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Divide pastry into 2 parts.
Line a 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan with 1 part of the pastry.
Melt butter; add flour and seasonings.
Let bubble.
Add liquid and cook slowly until thickened.
Add chicken; pour into pan.
Top with rest of pastry. Bake 35 minutes.
