Ingredients

2 lb. pears (4 c.)
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. maraschino cherries
Preparation

Cut pears in small pieces or grind through food grinder with sugar.
Boil pears and sugar until thick and clear, then add cherries cut in small pieces, using juice to heat through and seal.
I also make it by using oranges and lemons.
