Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fish
    2 medium potatoes (2 c., cubed)
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 medium carrot (1/2 c. diced)
    4 slices bacon
    1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Cut fish into 2-inch squares.
    In large saucepan, bring 2 cups water to boiling.
    Add potatoes and carrot.
    Simmer 5 minutes. Stir in fish and salt.
    Simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
