Cream Cheese Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, soft
    2 lb. powdered sugar
    food coloring
    1/2 tsp. peppermint flavoring
Preparation
    Combine cream cheese and butter in a saucepan.
    Stir over low heat until cheese is soft, butter is melted and mixture is well blended.
    Add powdered sugar.
    Stir until well-combined.
    Add your choice of food coloring and flavoring.
    If desired, divide batch to make 2 or 3 colors.
