Ingredients

3 egg whites
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add cream of tartar and beat to make egg whites dry.
Add brown sugar and beat until well blended. Fold in pecans and drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 200\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Check after 1 1/2 hours.
They should be colored, but not brown.
Store in airtight container.
