11 lb. average choice prime rib
granulated garlic
cracked pepper
salt
rock salt

Preparation

Season prime rib with salt, pepper and garlic.
Completely pack in rock salt, then slow roast, uncovered, in a 325\u00b0 convection oven for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
