Beef And Mushroom Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. beef-flavor Rice-A-Roni
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 1/2 c. hot water
    1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 eggs
    1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
    3 slices bacon
Preparation
    In butter or margarine, light brown rice and vermicelli.
    Add ground beef; finely crumble and continue browning.
    Stir in hot water, mushrooms, contents of beef flavor packet, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Cool slightly; stir in well-beaten eggs.
    Fill a 9-inch unbaked pie shell with Rice-A-Roni mixture. Garnish top with slices of bacon.
    Bake on cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
