Thirty-Six Lady Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. pitted prunes (about 2 c.)
    2/3 c. hot water
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    Buttermilk Glaze
    chopped nuts and whole, pitted prunes for garnish
Preparation
    In
    electric
    blender, combine prunes and water.
    Blend until smooth, scraping sides of container as needed.
    Combine prunes and
    remaining
    ingredients
    except glaze and garnish. Mix\tuntil thoroughly blended.
    Turn into greased and floured 12-cup tube pan.
    Bake\tin
    a
    350\u00b0
    oven 65 to 70 minutes or until cake
    is springy to the touch and toothpick inserted in center comes
    out clean.
    Cool
    cake in pan 10 minutes.
    Turn out onto
    serving plate and pierce all over with fork.
    Slowly pour
    glaze
    over cake.
    Garnish
    as\tdesired
    with remaining prunes and nuts.
