Frozen Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. chopped cabbage
    1 or 2 pods sweet pepper, chopped
    salt to suit taste
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Add vinegar, sugar and water.
    Let cool slightly, then pour over mixed vegetables and let cool a good 30 minutes before putting in freezer.
