Desert Rasmalai - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) cartons Ricotta cheese
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. Carnation milk powder
    8 to 10 cardamoms
    2 Tbsp. sliced almonds
    1 c. half and half or whipping cream
    1 pinch cooking camphor
    1 pinch saffron (optional)
    1 Tbsp. rose water (optional)
Preparation
    Set aside 2 to 3 tablespoons of margarine.
    Crush the cardamom to powder.
    Mix cheese, sugar, milk powder and one crushed cardamom thoroughly.
    Spread the mixture in a 13 x 8 x 2-inch glass pan; bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Remove; sprinkle almonds on top and let cool for an hour.
