Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream the butter, sugar and salt together.
Add the egg yolks and vanilla and mix well.
Add the flour to the wet mixture and mix well.
Place by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Press your thumb into the center of each cookie and fill the well left with jam or jelly.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
