Penny-Pinching Pot - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 c. thinly sliced celery
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    2 c. water
    1 (1 lb.) can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped, reserve liquid
    1 (20 oz.) can white or red kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large saucepan.
    Add celery and garlic and saute for 5 minutes.
    Combine onion soup and water.
    Add tomatoies reserve tomato liquid and onion soup mixture to celery.
    Cook, covered, 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add beans and cook 10 minutes.
