Toll House Outrageous Snack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine
    1 1/3 c. oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, divided in half
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl combine butter, oats, flour, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat 3 minutes at medium speed until light and fluffy.
    Stir in half of the chocolate chips.
    Spread batter in ungreased 8-inch square microwave-safe dish.
    Cover with wax paper.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Rotate dish 1/4 turn.
    Microwave on High for 4 to 5 more minutes, until top of cake appears dry and bottom is even color.
    Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over cake.
    Cool directly on counter top.
