Vietnamese Grilled Hens - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Cornish game hens
1/2 c. chopped scallions
1 Tbsp. grated, fresh ginger
1/4 c. sweet sherry
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. turmeric
fresh ground pepper
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation

Cut the hens into halves.
Mix together the remaining ingredients and rub all over the hen halves.
Let these marinate for a few hours, turning them regularly.
Grill over charcoal or oak.
Serve with a dry Gewurztraminer or dry Riesling.
Serves 2.
