No-Time Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. frozen chopped onion, unthawed
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 (3/8 oz.) pkg. chili seasoning mix
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 (1 lb. 3 oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans, unthawed
    1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking rice
Preparation
    Heat oil in large saucepan over moderate heat for 1 minute. Add onion and green pepper; saute, stirring often for 2 minutes or until slightly softened.
    Add beef; stir and cook for 2 minutes or until no longer pink.
    Pour off the fat.
    Add seasoning mix and black pepper to saucepan.
    Stir.
    Cook over moderate heat for 1 minute.
    Mix in tomatoes and kidney beans.
    Bring to a simmer, stirring often.
    Add green beans and red pepper flakes.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Cook rice according to package directions. Serve chili over rice and enjoy!
