Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine flour and soda.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, beating well after each.
    Add 1 cup of flour, then 1/2 cup of sour cream, another cup of flour, remainder of cream, 1/2 cup of flour (dredge pecans and raisins in other half), vanilla, nuts and raisins.
    Bake in four layers in 300\u00b0 oven.
