Burlap Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. bran flakes
2 pkg. quick rise yeast
1/3 c. wheat germ
1 Tbsp. salt
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. molasses
Preparation

Mix first 6 ingredients well.
Heat last 3 ingredients to 120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0.
Add the liquid ingredients to 2 cups of the flour (margarine does not need to be melted).
Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
By hand, gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a firm dough.
Knead on floured surface 5 to 8 minutes.
Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top.
Cover; let rise in warm place until double, about 30 minutes. Punch down.
Divide into 2 parts.
On lightly floured surface, roll or pat each half to a 14 x 7-inch rectangle.
Starting with short side, roll up tightly, pressing dough into roll with each turn. Pinch ends to seal.
Place in greased pan; let rise until double. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, until loaves sound hollow when tapped.
