Ingredients

1/2 c. melted oleo
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
coconut (to roll in)
1 pkg. dates, cut fine
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cook all ingredients (except Rice Krispies, nuts and coconut) for 10 minutes, stirring continuously.
Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies and nuts.
Butter hands (mixture will be hot).
Roll into balls and roll in coconut.
