Mom'S French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    butter
    oil for frying
    French bread or Italian bread or rolls (round or long)
Preparation
    Mix eggs and milk well; add cinnamon.
    Cut bread into thick 1-inch slabs.
    Dip bread into mix and allow to soak until saturated (about 30 seconds).
    Fry in a large skillet in mix of oil and butter.
    Eat plain, or with maple syrup, sprinkled with white or powdered sugar, or with more butter.
