Green Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 or 12 green tomatoes
    5 or 6 green peppers
    1 large onion
    pickling spices, put in bag
    red pepper
    vinegar
    sugar
Preparation
    For 1 gallon, cut tomatoes and let set overnight in salt water.
    Put 1/2 gallon vinegar, sugar and pickling spices in pot. Bring to a boil.
    Cut green and red peppers and onion.
    Add to boiling mixture.
    Squeeze tomatoes out of water and add to boiling mixture.
    Let cook 3 hours.
    Should be thick.
    Put in jars and seal.
