Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
    Crisco shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/4 or 1/2 poultry seasoning
    1 tsp. black or white pepper
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients in plastic bag.
    Blend milk and egg. Shake chicken pieces in bag.
    Dip in milk and shake in bag the second time.
    Place in hot shortening (not too hot).
    Fry without covering.
    Turn often until done.
    Drain on paper towels.
