Wild Rice And Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. wild rice, uncooked or substitute half with brown rice
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 c. celery, sliced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 can mushrooms and liquid plus 3 oz. water or milk (may substitute fresh mushrooms)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash rice by running cold water through in strainer until water runs clear.
    Place rice plus 3 cups cold water and 1/2 teaspoon salt and bring to boil for 1 minute, then lower heat and simmer (keep covered) for 30 minutes, until rice opens.
    Drain.
