Ingredients

1/2 c. shelled pecans
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. skimmed milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/3 c. hot strong coffee
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Spread pecans on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until fragrant.
Let cool and chop coarsely in a large bowl.
Stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
