Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans kidney beans
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. chopped tomatoes
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 green pepper
    1 to 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 bay leaf
    2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
Preparation
    Heat oil in large skillet. Add onion and green pepper. Cook until onion is translucent. Add meat and brown. Pour off all fat. Add beans and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Stir occasionally; remove bay leaf.
