Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream the margarine. Add salt. Add sugar gradually. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add grated lemon rind. Sift flour.
    Measure and sift together with baking powder. Add alternately to creamed mixture with 1/2 cup milk. Add chopped walnuts. Turn into well-greased bread pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes. Take from oven.
    Place pan on rack and spoon the Lemon Topping over hot loaf.
