Baked Eggs With Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. finely chopped fresh mushrooms
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco
    6 slices white bread
    12 eggs
    3/4 c. half and half
Preparation
    Heat 4 tablespoons butter in large skillet; add onion and mushrooms and cook until tender.
    Add salt and Tabasco; remove to small bowl.
    Cut bread into 6 rounds; spread with remaining 2 tablespoons butter and toast in same skillet.
    Grease six ramekins.
    Place one toast circle in each ramekin; top with a layer of onion and mushrooms.
    Carefully break two eggs into each ramekin.
    Top each with 2 tablespoons cream.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes until eggs are set.
    Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.
