Asparagus With Shrimp Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. half and half
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. shredded Havarti or Fontina cheese
    pinch of cayenne
    1 egg yolk
    1 c. tiny shrimp, drained
    3 lb. asparagus, cooked just until tender
Preparation
    Heat half and half to boil in small saucepan over medium heat. Toss flour with cheese and add to half and half; cook, stirring until smooth.
    Add cayenne.
    Blend small amount of sauce into yolk; add back to pan, stirring constantly.
    Heat to hot, but do not boil.
    Fold in shrimp.
    Serve over asparagus.
