Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Combine margarine and sugar in saucepan over low heat and stir until margarine is melted and mixed well with the sugar. Remove from heat.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla. Combine dry ingredients. Add to egg and sugar mixture. Stir in pecans.
Bake in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut in squares.
