Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 can apple pie filling (2 cans optional)
Preparation
    Mix together with wooden or plastic spoon, sugar, flour, milk, cinnamon and vanilla.
    Stir until mixture is smooth.
    Lumps will appear but continue to mix until only a few lumps appear. Melt butter or margarine and pour into a 9 x 12-inch baking pan. Pour apple pie filling into pan; spread evenly across bottom of pan.
    Pour mixture in bowl over top of apple pie filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes (cooking time may vary).
