Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 qt. cucumbers
6 onions
5 c. sugar
3 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. pickling spices

Preparation

Put sliced cucumbers in large glass container.
Soak overnight in 1/4 bag lime.
Be sure to cover in water; cover container.
