Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 2 bottles (1 1/2 oz.) red food color
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Mix coloring and cocoa.
Let stand.
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, then coloring-cocoa mix.
Beat well.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in vanilla and vinegar; don't beat.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in 2 (9-inch) or 9 x 13-inch greased pan for 35 minutes.
