Yokan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks red kanten
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 can Marukai koshian or tsubushian (18 oz.)
    1 1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash kanten
    and
    strip.
    Add
    water; boil until kanten dissolves.\t Add
    sugar;\tboil
    again.\tAdd
    koshian\tor tsubushian.
    Cook on
    low or medium heat for 20 to 30 minutes. Pour into pan and refrigerate.
