Peanut Brittle(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. unsalted peanuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Using microwave-proof pan, pour corn syrup and sugar in and stir slightly.
    Microwave for 4 minutes.
    Stir in 1 cup nuts and microwave for 3 to 5 more minutes.
    Stir in salt, butter and vanilla.
    Microwave for 1 to 2 more minutes.
    Remove from microwave and stir in baking soda.
    Pour immediately onto a buttered cookie sheet.
    Let set until cool and firm, then break into pieces.
