Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pie shell
2 c. crushed pineapple
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
juice of 1 lemon
Preparation

Scald pineapple.
Mix cornstarch, salt, sugar and stir into pineapple.
Stir and cook slowly 10 minutes.
Add lemon juice and beaten egg yolks slowly.
Cover and let cook 5 minutes.
Pour into baked pie shell and cover with whipped cream when ready to serve. Good when chilled.
