Anadama Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. light molasses
2 envelopes active dry yeast
1/2 c. very warm water
6 c. sifted all-purpose flour
cornmeal (for topping)
Preparation

Heat water, cornmeal, salt, butter or margarine and molasses in medium size saucepan until thick and bubbly.
Pour into a large bowl; cool to lukewarm, about 45 minutes.
