Fettucine Alfredo For 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. uncooked wide egg noodles (3 to 4 oz.)
    3 Tbsp. butter (1/4 stick)
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1/2 c. freshly grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
    dash of pepper
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
    Return noodles to saucepan, or put in warm chafing dish or electric skillet to finish at the table.
    Fold in butter until melted.
    Pour in whipping cream and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Fold and stir until cream is partially absorbed and cheese is melted.
    Just before serving, add salt, pepper and nutmeg if desired.
    Makes 2 servings.
