1 c. Minute oats, uncooked
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine oats, sugar, flour and salt; mix well.\tStir in remaining
ingredients.
Drop
by teaspoon (1/2 full) 3-inches apart onto aluminum foil lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to\t8
minutes
or\tuntil edges are brown.\tCool completely before removing from cookie sheet.
Yield:
6 1/2 dozen.
